In the poem I, Too, Sing America by Langston Hughes, explain a dream. In the time of the Harlem Renaissance were known as yellows or bronzes and often felt superior to their "darker brother," who didn't as easily fit into white society. This is seen in much of his other work, along with the works of other writers likes James Baldwin. During that period, the "yellows" imagined themselves as part of the greater white community, and tried to throw off their African heritage.A dream of equality of all black men and women of its that time. Its show how believing what you know is right will soon, appear to other is right. For example in the last line he explain
"Then .Besides,
They'll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed--I, too, am America."
Stating that when they realize what they are doing is wrong, they will feel ashamed.
